Studland Bay Cruise – Saturday June 9th

ANOTHER GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO FINESSE YOUR SEAMANSHIP SKILLS!

Saturday 9th June (neap tides)

Briefing at SSC – 10.30

Leave SSC at 11.00 approx. and sail to Studland Bay for lunch on beach or Banks Arms. Back to SSC mid to late afternoon (same day!) for tea and cakes.

Destination – Studland

Low Tide at Swanage c. 12.40
High Tide at Swanage c.18.08

If there is too much or too little wind we may shorten the cruise to stop at Shep’s Hollow. We plan on having a Swan rib or alternative as rescue cover and warmly invite the SSC members with yachts to join us. Low to medium PYs encouraged and please note that this is not a race……

Things to bring in addition to normal racing/fun sailing gear;

· Anchor
· Painter
· Paddle
· Water
· Lunch
· Sun block!
· Radio if available or mobile in waterproof bag
· Outboard motor if available or feasible

Volunteers needed for rescue cover!!
