New Membership Application

The Club is currently at full capacity and therefore we are unable to accept new members until spring 2009.

We accept Applications all year round but these are put on a waiting list. We only process them in the Spring after membership renewals have taken place. This is the only time membership spaces become available. The waiting list does not roll over from year to year, if you are unsuccessful in gaining membership you will have to re-apply.

Full Membership

The Club welcomes new members but due to our popularity spaces are severely limited. Typically we accept 30–40 new members each year, the precise number depending on the number of resignations from the previous year.

Facts Sheet
Our admissions procedure requires potential applicants to be ‘proposed’ and ‘seconded’ by current members of 2 or more years standing. Temporary Membership
Occasional visitors to Swanage might be interested in Temporary Membership. Temporary Membership is available on daily or weekly terms, but cannot exceed more than 2 weeks in any quarter. We can only accommodate up to 5 temporary members (and their boats) at a time.
