If you use Outlook and would like to have the club racing events entered in the calender feature of the program then Patrick O Hara has created Outlook Calender files to do just that, and provided instructions on how to import it.

PLEASE NOTE THIS HAS BEEN TESTED WITH OUTLOOK CALENDER 2002XP ALTHOUGH IT MAY WORK WITH OTHER SOFTWARE? (webmasters copout)

Please read through the instructions before downloading.
You can download the files here :

Sailing Calender 2010

Here are the instructions for loading into Outlook:

A. Save the file to disk.

B. In Outlook Calendar, do:

1. File |Import
2. Choose Import from another program or file
3. Choose Comma Separated Values (Windows)
4. Select the file you saved
5. Wait for Outlook to give you a list of folders - this takes an inexplicably long time.
6. Choose Calendar, should already be selected
7. Finish

C. If you want the entries to show up in a different colour in Outlook, do the following.
(This may not work with your version of Outlook - I have Outlook 2002 XP.)

1. Edit | Automatic Formatting
2. Press Condition.
3. Got to the Advanced Tab
4. Click the Fields button, Select Frequently Used Fields then Categories
5. Specify Value Sailing, press OK
6. Specify a Name and Colour Label, press Add.

The file shows the time in your calendar as Free and makes the entries Private so other users cannot see the detail of the entries!

Cheers Patrick
