Key Files

The most important file to download is 2019 Yearbook (see on the right), there is also a files section in the members area.

How we communicate with you

  • All important news will be posted to the clubhouse noticeboard, this website and the members’ Facebook group.
  • Our duty system Dutyman will send out automated mails, please add to your contacts list.
  • If you have joined a safety team, your team leader will likely contact you directly at the start of the season.
  • From time to time we will send an e-mail shot from a system called Mailchimp. If you use Gmail / Googlemail these emails will appear in the promotions tab.


The club is run by members for members, and all active members and parents of active Junior members are required to do two Bar or Galley (kitchen) duties each year. Please become familiar with house duties and if you race, safety duties.

Sailing Opportunities

The club runs a full sailing and training programme and there are plenty other opportunities to sail throughout the year. Please always check the weather and tides.

Training Opportunities

The club operates a volunteer driven training programme for adults and children, please about it here.

Social Events

Swanage Sailing Club operates a full programme of social events throughout the year. Keep your eye on the website and / or Facebook for more details news about events nearer the time.

Boat and Kayak Hire

The club has a range boats available for hire to qualified club members. Read about boat hire.
