Following the announcement of the easing of Covid restrictions on 19 th July the SSC Covid committee met to discuss how this should be implemented given the high local infection rates, the use of club by non-vaccinated children, and the fact one vaccination only gives a 40% protection against catching Covid and two only 80%. "The Swanage regatta going ahead and is focused on being more than just racing. Like the last regatta, we have the big Saturday night BBQ and to add to that there's a pre-regatta boost with Gin&Tonics at the club being £1.50 for one night only on the Friday evening.
